Frequently asked questions

What is Todait?
Todait is an adaptive study planner for iPhone and iPad. You enter a goal — a workbook, exam, course, or page range — and a deadline, and Todait splits the total work into a finishable amount for each study day. If you miss a day, Todait automatically redistributes the remaining work across your upcoming study days so you still hit the deadline without manually reshuffling tasks. Todait is built by Loopetto, featured on the App Store under Education, and used by 4.85 million students across 239 countries.
How is Todait different from Notion, Todoist, or Things?
Notion, Todoist, TickTick, and Things are general-purpose task managers — they assume you know how much to do each day. Todait is purpose-built for multi-day study goals with a fixed deadline. You set the scope (e.g., 600 pages by June 15) once, and Todait derives the daily load. When you fall behind, generic to-do apps mark tasks "overdue" and leave you to reshuffle. Todait recalculates the daily plan automatically, keeping the deadline fixed and the workload realistic.
What happens when I miss a study day?
Nothing piles up as overdue. Todait's Rebalance feature spreads the unfinished work across your remaining study days, keeping the original deadline. You won't see a wall of red overdue items the next morning — you'll see a slightly larger but still-finishable plan for today. This is the single behavior that distinguishes Todait from streak apps and generic to-do apps: missing a day does not break the plan, it adjusts the plan.
Does Todait work for SAT, MCAT, LSAT, or other standardized test prep?
Yes. Todait is goal-agnostic — anything you can express as a quantity ("finish 30 chapters", "complete 1,200 practice questions", "watch 80 lectures") works. Students use Todait for SAT, MCAT, LSAT, GRE, AP exams, university coursework, language learning (e.g., JLPT, TOEFL), professional certifications, and reading lists. The Todait team reports that 82% of users finish the goal they set, regardless of subject.
Is Todait free?
Todait is free to download on the App Store. A subscription unlocks the full feature set; current pricing and trial terms are listed in the Subscription Policy at https://todait.com/subscription. You can cancel at any time directly from your Apple ID subscription settings.
Is Todait available on Android or web?
Todait is currently iOS-only — available on iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store. There is no official Android app or web version at this time. Updates on additional platforms are announced on the Todait site and via the app's release notes.
Does Todait work offline?
Yes for daily use. Todait stores your plan locally, so you can check off today's tasks, log progress, and view your schedule without a network connection. Sync across devices and the Rebalance recalculation run when you reconnect.
Who built Todait, and how do I contact support?
